Flashes struck the city as the battle against the hellish enemies from the dark portal continued. Rain and hard winds made the sight bad but nonetheless the knights and the feds kept fighting. They would never surrender.

“They are everywhere!” EMIL-E shouted while using her powers to shield her allies from incoming beasts. She did the best she could to protect her friends.

“Give them everything you got!” Kordahk shouted and kept shooting with the guns on his arms while occasionally smashing a couple of monsters getting too close for comfort.

Lass-E drank some new coffee, or caffeinated oil, and immediately he turned into his hyper mode once more. “LASS-E SMASH!” he shouted and jumped up in the air, bringing down several monsters with him.

“Good job, Lass-E! Let’s greet them the Swedish way!” Wall-G activated her gun she loaded with rocks and it began shooting a stream of projectiles in all directions that smashed those monsters that were unlucky, or stupid, enough to get in the way.

Meanwhile ERN-E and Terra ran together, jumping over rooftops, while avoiding the black beasts chasing them. One beast flew towards ERN-E, who was too occupied with some other beasts to notice it, but Terra saw it coming.
She jumped up in the air and sliced the fiend into two pieces with her sword before it reached ERN-E.

“Thanks, you are doing a pretty good job!” ERN-E commented on his unusual partner while using his holo-shield to strike against several monsters in his path while they kept running.

“I don’t have time for sweet talks. We are still enemies!” Terra angrily replied and made a flip in the air and brought down two monsters at once before striking them in their heads with her sword. ERN-E was just like that reminded of the hate Terra had against him.

“Don’t blame me for the death of your sister!” ERN-E smashed away a monster.

“It’s your fault she died and I will avenge her demise!” Terra angrily replied and sliced off a monster’s head. ERN-E sighed; Terra was too far into her hate that she could not let go of the past.
But they had far more pressing concerns to worry about than having therapy.

ERN-E and Terra jumped over to another rooftop only to find themselves surrounded by several dark beasts.
But before anything else happened, two demons were struck in their heads by laser shots and fell down dead. Terra took the chance and attacked the surprised beasts.

A surprised ERN-E looked up to a rooftop above and saw the familiar sight of the black knight, 102, sitting there with his sniper rifle shooting all monsters in sight.

“102 reporting in.” 102 said and shot yet another demon with his incredible aiming skills. He truly was the best at this.

Suddenly two peppermint colored robots arrived on the rooftop with Terra and ERN-E.
“Can we join?” T-1 said and jump kicked a monster off the roof.

"Finally some fun!" N-1 chuckled and struck off a monster from the building.

“The surprises never end today.” ERN-E replied to the sight of the two fembot twins T-1 and N-1 entering the battle using their ninja skills to jump, kick and crush the monsters in their path.

While 102 assisted them with his sniping he failed to notice a couple of monsters sneaking up to him from behind. He turned around but before he could react they were smashed into the ground by the powerful K’Sav.
“We are all in this fight together...” He said and loaded his powerful gun on his right arm and blew up a couple of fiends behind him.

More monsters attacked them, forcing 102 to drop his sniper rifle and pull out his sword from behind his back. The black knight swung around his sword in a deadly whirlwind and sliced the beasts around them into pieces.
An impressed K’Sav assisted by both using his gun and his brute force, thus totally annihilating the black demons.

A dozen of the devilish monsters flew towards Zarthek and Monova who stood on one of the higher rooftops. For once in their long history of being enemies, they actually fought together.

The monsters kept coming but Monova and Zarthek held their ground.
Back to back they kept each other safe while striking against the incoming fiends. Monova used her laser axe to strike against all monsters coming near while Zarthek used his big cannon to shoot everyone at a distance.

A beast came right at Monova but Zarthek pulled her to the side and smashed the demon into the ground. Monova rolled to the side, sliced up two more incoming beasts, and nodded to Zarthek who understood what she meant.
The powerful Cyclops grabbed Monova by her legs and swung her around in a full circle around him on the rooftop while Monova kept her blade pointing out.
All around them demons were sliced into pieces by this whirlwind of death. They were unstoppable, but despite that the demons never seemed to stop coming from the portal.

“They never stop coming!” Monova pointed out the obvious fact.

Good! I have been longing for a good fight all day!” Zarthek replied, and blasted a poor black beast into pieces.

Suddenly Zarthek’s loyal communication chief, Hydrahk, landed next to them on the rooftop. He used his frequency blasts to get rid of any annoying demons coming too close. He was as good at communication and spying as he was at fighting.

“Sir!” He said in his usual monotone voice. “I have located the source of the portal to a machine feeding it energy. It has been placed on one of the rooftops not far away from here.”

Hydrahk pointed to a large building with a strange machine that looked like a big gun; it kept shooting a beam right up towards the dark hellish portal spewing out monsters, obviously keeping it stable and active.

“Destroying that machine is our only hope of ever getting out of this alive” Monova shouted. “Zarthek, I need your help with this!”

Zarthek understood. He grabbed Monova, swung her around once again and threw her towards the direction of the devious portal machine.

As she fell downwards Monova activated the back pack on her back, unleashing two long insect-like wings. Her wings allowed her to glide towards her destination.

She was lucky, for the wind blew her in the right direction.

Usually I do a big Christmas picture for Christmas every year, but I decided to do something more than that this year.
There was an idea about a story that popped up in my mind. An idea inspired by the big battle picture :iconclub-kids: and I made: Twas' the Fight Before Christmas by CLUB-KIDs

I was thinking a bit about it for a while when this idea came up: What if I did something entirely different and wrote this story instead of drawing it as a comic?

And so here comes the result after of a couple of days of writing:
A big Christmas story involving characters from :iconclub-kids: and me.
I don't really write stories often so this was quite the challenge, but I think it turned out pretty well anyways.

Also, much thanks to :iconclub-kids: who helped me out with this.

Enjoy~
